on paper it looks like one of the more decent fixtures in this league, or was it the usual police overkill?

Re: anything yesterday?
Didnt go myself due to being fucking pennyless!! But heard we took a good set of lads down, 4 mini bus's and a few travelling train and cars, bit of a funny one this fixture, when we had them at ours they brought fuck all but handfull of there older lads who ended up on the piss with us, think we have a mutual frendship somewhere along the lines with there older lot, have'nt a clue where it stems from though.
Heard there was some handbags but apart from that nothing else has been mentioned, our younger lot were well up for it but sounds like they didnt entertain us, proberly ob over kill as per

Re: anything yesterday?
Just another firm that once had a good mob but now has fuck all. This fixture 6 to 10 years ago would of been naughty but know cat and mouse with old bill. We had 50 to 60 quality lads and avoided city centre on there advice on doing this they Lecesiter then informed us we should go to city centre has they have 150 waiting . Any way we were plotted up for 2 hours with old bill not haveing a clue were we was. We got collard in the end and escorted to ground in mini buses. On arriving outside ground we jumped out of buses and 40 of us took a left away from ground towards centre old bill were clueless to were we had gone in the crowds of people again after a little walk we didnt see any thing lads wise. Old bill with panick on there face soon caught up with us and werent to pleased and got baton happy. After game old bill over kill we tried slipping the escort they had ready for us some lads did but the majority couldnt and with the copper chopper hovering they kept us there till the crowd had cleared. Has i stood there i watched the crowds walk past leaving the ground and i didnt see anything lad or mob wise fuck all . A few lads walked up city centre for train home and said they was fuck all to. There old bill said to us all that they Lecesiter had nothing out they were all in hmp Coventry. So wheather they did have 150 out i dont know. When they came down i looked forward to this fixture but same has leeds shite. They didnt show at ours and fuck all down at theres. Lecesiter were a good mob in there day too just shows how fv is today. Leeds in 2 weeks but this will be same over over hyped bollocks old bill every where and leeds bringing fuck all again.

Went down in car,saw nothing in city centre before the game and had a walk right around the ground before the game.Saw nothing around the ground before or after.Like the old bill said "they dont fuck about down here".
The game is just about up I think.

Re: anything yesterday?
A bit of perspective eh lads!
You Hudds and Oldham lads banging on about us taking fuck all up to you lot this season and you bringing it to us at ours.
Well, fair play to you both. Not being sarcastic either, you obviously looked at us as a scalp and came down accordingly.
The thing is,whilst i for one(and so do all our older lads)know that Hudds and Oldham have both got decent little mobs, for all sorts of reasons,we were never going to be arsed with you this season.
Mainly due to large scale operations against us,with upwards of 30 jailed and many more warned off or staying out of the way,but also because basically we are too long in the tooth to bothering with the likes of you.
We were up there when it really was happening, just a fact not a boast.
You can come down to ours and have a day out, like you both have done.
We've got plenty of lads but we just ain't arsed with the likes of you two wanting to prove yourselves anymore.
By the way,i was one of the lads boozing in Hudds twn centre before the game this season with you lot,and as for Oldham, been there a few times in the late 70,s thru the 80's when we took liberties every time we came(but on the other hand,i've took a shoeing off your lads in Blackpool)
C'est la vie.

Re: anything yesterday?
well lesta, ive never seen you take liberties at ours, and ive been going since 1980. also, your not the only mob to have lads jailed. yes, you are one of the main mobs in this division, but superfirm you aint.
and before you say it, yes you did get in papers for rioting at ours once just before i started going, so i cant comment on it. apart from that, you might have kicked it off at ours, but every match was like that early eighties and im not being funny, but you dont stand out as anything exceptional

Re: anything yesterday?
Well so Leicster are up there as a superfirm along with all the others.Lets get some perspective then, you are nowt special now and were nowt when it mattered.
You may have lads locked up over the coventry incident , but by all accounts nothing really happened did it.Sent down for bouncing along a road.

Re: anything yesterday?
Superfirm? why do the pair of you have to both use that term?
I would never claim anything of the sort.
You two obviously have similar outlooks because you are very similar clubs.
Both of you were never anything more than lower league in every sense of the word in the days when it was actually possible for major outbreaks and it really did happen.
Oldham lad,you just missed the riot in 79 eh? so you wuill have been there in April 83 then, when we absolutely took the piss all day(and it wasn't even worth bragging about,it was just what was expected).
No we weren't a Superfirm 80's-90's but after the really big mobs of the time,we were one of the best in the country through that period.
To repeat myself, had a different view of your lot after they mullered a decent mob of us in Sequins Blackpool in the ealy 90's,proper good lads they were.
Hudds lad,
You say we're fuck all now and were nowt back then.
Regarding what happened at Cov,you weren't there mate,so to put you right.
They turned up at a pub we were in armed with knives, bats, metal poles, pool balls ansd more and our lot fronted them and turned them, but irrespective of that or whether it was just bouncing about, jail is jail isn't it?
We also have lads looking at bird for a dust up that was caught on cctv when a jonny come lately mob turned up last season(Norwich!)
Now why would lads risk it happening again cos fucking Oldham or Hudds fancy giving it the big un? NOT WORTH IT!
As for being nowt back in the day,how the fuck would you know? you weren't there were you?
I know for a fact Hudds were very good(always have been)on a bg day for them, definitely punch above your weight for the size of the town, but don't try to re write history mate.

Re: anything yesterday?
fair comments there lessta,we were always up for games against you as the baby squad was rated then and probably turned out more than normal,we always seemed to have a good time against you lot and again fair play for telling it how it is now,i myself was jailed in 96 for fv and it puts things in perspective, most of the yc have kids and mortgages now,and only turn out for the big games, its our ys firm that keeps us oldies going now.nice to see a bit of truth on these boards, i for one dont think you was ever fuckall.r&r

Re: anything yesterday?
Nice one hyc,
Always ready to swap memories/opinions etc but can't take somebody who says we were nowt when it mattered seriously(got to be on a wind up or just clueless)
Acouple you may remember?
87 at Leeds Road
About 20 of our younger lot(my kid brother and his mates)went on the train.
Got bother as soon as they came out of the station.
Ended up getting split up and having a rough time before the game and on way to ground.
Stuck together on the way back and had some give and ytake with your lot.
They reckoned your lot were mainly about their age(15-19ish in 87).
They classed it as a great day(even though a few got done over)part of growing up.
Oct 95
Night game at the McAlpine
About 30 of us leave the ground when we spot movement from your lot in the stand next to us.
Bump straight into each other outside and to be honest we went straight through you, about even numbers(Del and all)
Got a bit hairy soon after though when we had to start slitting up to get to our motors.
Got a lot of time for Hudds.
The lads you had out for us at yours this season was a tidy crew and it could have got awkward for me in your town, but your lot were sound.

Re: anything yesterday?
the only firm to take the piss that i remember at oldham early eighties was man city in 84 on good friday. there was that much trouble, the game finished 2 hours later than it should have done. like i said, there was trouble at every game in those days outside the away end and car parks. yes, oldham did occasionally come unstuck but there is a big difference between what city did and what other firms did.

Re: anything yesterday?
I may have been a bit hasty, reading back it was a bit of a rant.Leicster were far from nowt,my point was that they were never one of the big mobs that we looked forward to.Most mobs didnt really travel that far in a big mob apart from big games. The big boys took it everywhere and im afraid Leicster and us just wernt in that category.
Fair play to your lads in jail, its a disgrace the sentences handed out to football lads when the scum of the earth get fuck all.
Once again sorry for coming across as a bit of a tit.

We always welcome lads for a beer if there not up for it and there isnt boat loads of em, many lads from all over have had a beer with us, thats how it goes, were up for it if all partys are, but if its a hand-full of lads then fuck it lets have a beer, been to many other teams and they've lucked after us so were sound that way, cant say much for other firms although through-out the years most mobs have been fine, there are the few occasions where id rather get a kicking than drink with some lads though, this weekends game springs to mind....
